Benefits & details of all our overlap fencing projects:

  • Vertical pickets overlap the adjacent picket by 1”, covering any gaps. These overlapping pickets maintain privacy that can be reduced when boards dry out and shrink. This overlap also increases the overall strength of the fence.

  • 2" x 4" top caps protect the top of the fence boards from harsh sun and weather.

  • Hand-made decking caps keep water from infiltrating post tops and protect posts from the top down to increase the longevity of your fence.

  • All sections are designed and built to be removable for convenience and easy repair if necessary.

  • Overlap fencing comes at a standard height of 6 feet; however, fencing can be customized to add height for additional privacy.

Fence and Gate Materials & Pricing

While cedar fencing is our top recommendation for both its beauty and durability, we also offer a selection of other options to fit your needs and budget. If you would like to discuss the available fence options, please give us a call. We look forward to helping you select the best materials available to meet your style and budget.

Fence Stain

Not all wood requires stain; however, should you choose to stain your fence we offer several tone and color options for you to choose from. Our product of choice is Superdeck from Duckback, a Sherwin Williams product. With the exposure to sun and weather here in Central Oregon we recommend the oil-based line for fencing in our area. Over time we have found this product easy to work with and maintain.

Don’t get faded! As a full-service fence company, we also offer fence staining and refinishing. Learn more about our fence refinishing services here, or ask us about our fence maintenance plan and keep your fence looking just like new. With a regular maintenance plan, you never have to maintain your fence again!

Cedar Fencing

Cedar is a softwood common to the Pacific Northwest. Because cedar trees grow in wet, swampy, riparian areas, their structure is made of tightly packed wood fibers. This structure makes cedar a great choice for longevity. It is the most durable and low maintenance option available & our top recommendation for fencing, not only for its durability but also, for its aesthetic appeal. Cedar can either be stained or left natural.

If you are looking for more economically priced options, it is possible to use either pressure treated wood or Douglas Fir fence rails in place of cedar.

Douglas Fir is a locally sourced evergreen tree that is the most common material in residential framing here in Central Oregon. It is fairly sustainable and grows quickly.

Pressure treated material is Douglas Fir that has been injected with a chemical to repel water and keep insects from destroying the wood.

Reclaimed Wood fencing

Reclaimed materials are both beautiful and sustainable. Using reclaimed wood in your project allows you to create a unique look while telling a story. Dependent on your project, our reclaimed wood materials are sourced from local barn wood dealers, reclaimed decks & fencing, and from our own collection. Reclaimed materials are a great way to add character to new construction.

Prices vary dependent on specific project materials.
